spb mobile shell. help
 

i have spb mobile shell and i have to say its a pretty nice program. but im having some problems with it. when i recieve a text message, the message icon dosent show that i have any text. also the battery icon on the top corner dosent change. it just stays at a certain % and dosent change even though the battery has decreased. can anyone help me with this?

Does a soft reset fix it? Try uninstalling, resetting, reinstalling, and resetting again.

I had some issues with it as well so I unistalled it and installed SPB Pocket Plus along with Diary and Phone Suite.

I have been having problems with the hard buttons (specifically the mail button) doing anything (suppose to launch Good link mail) this works when I am in other programs.

Also is there anyway to change the target of the mail button on the now screen to launch something other than outlook?

Seems you're not the only one. I didn't see any resolution to the issue posted there yet.

Wow the first post was in July of 2008 and no one has posted a resolution. I hear that a new version of spb mobile shell will be out soon as well. Hope this issue is fixed.

You may also want to try a SPB Mobile Shell theme as I've had different results with different themes. Look in the Themes Forum for more themes.

Been running mobile shell and pocket plus for months now, with no problems on my 800. if above methods dont resolve for u, try starting with a clean slate(after a hard reset), then install.

:violent2:I would have to 2nd this. I used SPBMobile shell on my mogul for a long time with no issue's. Try some of the different theme's available for the SPB shell, cause the problem might just be with that particular theme you are using.

for the batterie icon .it can be removed if you open internet explorer once open explorer go to menu ........> spb poket plus ......opti ons.....unmark the battery icon
