You could use something like Dashwire.

it doesnt support the treo ... :( (it will install but won't backup the SMS's)

Even myphone.microsoft.com will not sync the SMS's

Not sure if you've already checked.. But I just tried SMS Bee and seem to have the same problem as any other application I've tried to use to back up Txt msgs on my 800w.. Basically it downloads some of the msgs in the sent folder and the one that's sitting in the drafts folder but nothing from the inbox.. From my understanding it's something with the way Sprint has the text msgs set up. I can't remember the exact verbiage.. If I can find the explanation again I will post it.

Anyone know if there is a way to locate where text msgs are stored on the 800w's and if there is a way to extract them that way?
