changing permissions on rom files
 

ok ive been reading alot in these threads and i was wondering if there is like a reg edit tweak or something to unlock some of the rom files on a treo 800w. What i mean is like dll files that are considered part of the rom for ex if i wanted to change taskbar icons i need to edit outres.128.dll but i cant cuz its a rom file. i was just wondering if theres a way to unlock those in the 800w. I have my msl and is there a hidden menu to change that option or what
