I don't think Cricket has a data plan. They were one of our bidders at work for mobile services and if I remember they had data services but that was a year ago. Don't know if that has changed.

Cricket does have internet service and there are folks that have flashed the treo 800w for cricket.

Go to howardforums and check out the cricket/smartphone forum.

Make sure that the city that you live in is not using the new tri-band network for cricket. Cricket bought new bandwidth at the last auction and have set up the new bandwidth in a handful of cities. I live in OKC which has the new network meaning that there are NO compatible smartphones for this area. Again, if the city you live in requires the use of cricket's "Tri-Band" phones, then you cannot flash any smartphones for that network.

Winston Salem NC. One way to find out if your area is using the new bandwidth is look at your phone options for your area at Cricket's website. When you tell the website your zip code you will see the compatible phones. If all of them are labled "Tri-Band" then you are out of luck. There is no way to flash any smart phones (or non cricket tri-bands for that matter) in that network.

Other than that, I would not have a clue.

Hi. How would I get into EPST for this phone?

Or how would I move the settings for a different carrier.

Thanks
