800w Slot Cycle Index

I have searched and searched and cannot find the key-strokes to enter provisioning to change the SCI to '1'. Can someone help me with the proper ##---# code to enter?

I believe this can't be accessed through the Treo's. I couldn't get into it on my old 700wx or my 800w

For the record, you CAN change the Slot Cycle Index with QPST.

Mine is set to '1' now. :)

Follow the instructions verbatim.

Enjoy! =D> :headbang:

Yes, I just learned of this the other day too. Seems to be working.. No more partial rings and a missed call notifications.

Has anyone been able to get these instructions to work using vista and 64 bit? I have not been able to and I don't know if 64 bit is the problem. I have gotten confirmation it has worked on vista just none yet on whether it works on 64 bit as well.

addition: and i tried da link posted earlier...no worky..since mike said it shud work im goin to try again

I would try it again. I was having some trouble on a 64 bit computer. When I switched to a 32 bit machine I ended up getting it to work just like it was supposed to. I don't know if it mattered but I only added the port that was the diagnostic port and not anything else. It worked and I verified it worked by going back into the QPST program and checking to see what my sci was. I had set it to 1 and it was still at 1.

I am still curious to why it didn't work with 64 bit? If anyone knows the answer to that please share. I think it could be something to do with how it tries to automatically install drivers. This is for another topic though at another time.

Also if you do a ##debug# SCI will be listed as '1' also, so it definitely worked. :thumbleft:
