Button lights tweak...?

Any way to tweak how bright the button (the call/end key, start/ok/messaging/calendar) lights are?

Well I know that Hanip who has many posts over at xda-developers, and wmexperts made a TreoKeyLight Cab that would turn off the keyboard and soft key lights. However this one for the 800w had some issues with other programs as well as the screen light flickering on and off from time to time. Im not sure if it was corrected or not. His past key light for the 700wx worked perfectly. As far as diming them, well that would be even better. He would be a good person to ask about this. He's all over the boards and is easy to find.
