Problem with my 5 way navigation key!..help!
 

So my 5 way navigation key decided it was going to start acting funny.... i don't really know what the heck or what setting i moved, but now, when i hit up on the navigation key, it moves left, when i hit left it moves up, and the same for right and down.....how do i fix this?

I vaguely remember having a similar problem. I think it may have occured after installing the task manager tMan. I was trying the option to change screen orientation (which didn't work) but it may have caused the 5 way to change orientation. In other words did you try to change the orientation of your screen? After uninstalling tMAN (prefer magic button) the problem went away.

I installed winsbar advance desktop and now that you mention it, i think, i stupidly hit the option to rotate the sceen.. i have uninstalled it and will reinstall to try to fix the problem....thanks!

I had the same issue with HTC Home Plugin. Under the Launcher tab I hit the rotate screen unknowingly and messed the D-pad and the key board. When I would type it would completly type the wrong thing. You can Try a Hard reset or Uninstal the program along with any files in the Windows folder related to that program. If nothing works your gonna have to hard reset and start from scratch like I did. Or go to sprint the techs dont know much there and take it apart to check for water damage. Act like you dont know whats wrong and erase all installed programs. I get a new phone on Thursday. I managed to fix mine and it works great and gives me the chance to realy run some tests on it with out worries of bricking it since I get a new one anyway.

Do you happed to be using "My Mobiler" or another remote access program? My Mobiler has a button in the tool bar to rotate the screen which will not rotate the screne on the 800w but will rotate the 5-way controller. If this is your problem, you can go in the settings and change the rotate function to be 0 degrees so it shouldn't do it.

If it is some other program with a rotate function, it seems like you should be able to hit rotate again to get it back to normal.
