No reset button

According to this:

Treo 800w FAQ

To reset your phone you have to take out the battery. WTF...they couldn't add a simple reset button like on the 700wx ](*,)

Re: No reset button

It's the same way with the Centro. Really annoying IMO.

I wonder if they are going to warranty the battery door when it breaks.

Yeah thats another thing with the Centro (can't speak for the 800w but would imagine it is the same). The battery door is near impossible to remove and replace.

Great little soft reset program for the 800w.

Actually if you install Spb Pocket Plus or Wisbar Advanced 3 you get the soft reset function. I use Wisbar.

MemMaid is what I use and IMHO everyone should have MemMaid installed on there PPC. For me simply a must have.

Re: No reset button

Soft reset you remove battery door and there ia a small hole on the left side of the battery Use stylus and push the button for soft resest. Hard reset you have to hold the end key(Red button) and use stylus to push the same button on the left side of the battery or while holding the end key you can remove the battery Its the same thing and then it will ask you do you want to erase all data There is a way to do it slso by holding 2 buttons on the 700WX but I am unsure which I am sure your cellphone customer service will have the correct way

Re: No reset button

Drea43 I don't see any small hole on the once I remove the batter door. But since I have the battery door of its just as easy to remove the battery. If there is a reset button it would have been nice if they would have made it accessable without removing the battery door.
