Looks like Palm is updating the 800w to fix this. Yay!

Now we just need to know when this will come out.

This is big news thanks for posting. I agree that this deserves its own thread so I am going to leave this thread opened. Lets all keep checking and post here when the update is ready. I added this thread to the FAQ and stickied for now I will remove sticky later after the update has been out for a while ;-)

Yes, certainly deserves a new thread.

The news to me here is that Palm has already announced an update for a phone that's been released less than 2 weeks. And sounds like the update will be sooner rather than later.

Wow...haven't gotten my phone yet and ALREADY there's an update for it!!! :lol:

Let's see if we can get some custom roms out of this one 8-)

It's just a cab, not a ROM upgrade. You can only get a custom ROM from a ROM.

funny bug. i just installed this cab OTA. it asked to restart, which i did. then when it fired back on, it asked if i wanted to erased all data... :P
