Welcome to the world of Windows Mobile and the Treo 800w. I got mine 7/15 from telesales from sprint before it arrived in my local stores. I want to see what everyone is doing with the added real estate on the 800w I will start with an example of what I would like to see everyone do when posting in this thread.

How did you get world mate to work. I tried downloading it but it says that it isn't supported for 800wx???

It comes on the disc that comes with the 800w from sprint. OOPS I guess I should link to a version that works. I will fix it. Thanks

r1ngx, what are yo using for the icons at the bottom of your screen? (I'm still trying to make this as close to an easy Palm os transition as possible.)

Go download PocketPlus and see if it works well with the 800w. I live and die by PocketPlus :mrgreen:

Also MobileShell works well on the 800w and has a special launcher tab for one press touch screen launching.

Alas, PocketPlus is already on the list of apps with no 320x320 support cause it looks like just what I need. MobileShell not so much.

Have you or anyone else tried Pocket Plus? Does it really not work on the 800w? That would be sad.

Now I just would like to have it in a cleaner looking bright silver or even a bluish silver color since the phone is a Dark Blue.

The Diamond theme is pretty sick! I loved it except for a couple of things. I have a request if anyone knows the answer awesome...Is there a way to get the HTC Home Plugin to work on this? I think it would pretty cool if we had one that was 320x320 to use...Kust wondering.

I have a question. I realy enjoyed the SPBmobile shell/Diomond theme. When I had it on my 700wx it worked perfectly. Now I downloaded the one I got off xda-developers SPBmobileshell/Diamond Theme/RealVGA/96DPI. I never bought the spbMobileshell I downloaded the trial. After I install everything it works just fine. However after I shut the power off or it turns off on its own, when I go back and power on many of the applications from the SPBmobileshell/Diamond Theme (menu) are not executing a function when selected. For example if I hit the E for internet explorer it does nothing or brings me back to the same screen Im already looking at (the menu screen). Any advice or input would be appreciated.

Also I know the device has not been out that long but were slacking. On the today screens. S2U2 does not work yet on Treo 800w either. I love my 800w and I want to spice it up its today screen look as much as I can. Pleas post links to other cool Today screens out there.

I would love to make the Diamond Theme on my 800w and I can't locate directions that actually make it work correctly?? Can you anyone post exact step by step directions?

Here is link to what I got from xda developers. Its a theme made with spb mobile shell and changing the the display size with Real VGA and chosing 96dpi. If you dont know about this option follow the link and read the posts of do a google search for spb mobileshell diamond 320 x 320 screens.

Attached are my Ultimate Launcher screens. I use the entire screen for Ultimate Launcher and turn off the tabs at the top for truly seamless appearance. I use my finger to scroll between the three tabs that I have set up.

Simple with the HTC Home plugin (pinned!), HTC Home customizer (set on full transparent), LVMTime one-line date, and calendar. Theme from Windows Mobile website.

I don't like scroll bars on my screen, so I limit what's there. Here's a shot with BTAudio showing on the HS (allows music to be played thru mono bluetooth device; Moto S9's unaffected) and Call Lookup. May change it later.

I think I finally have mine set...UL works great..To switch between tabs, I just slide my finger left or right. Now the only little issue I have with UL is that after activating it, for some odd reason after a certain amount of time I get the "not activated" text on each of the tabs even though it has been activated.

Man, I must begetting old. I installed RealVGA on my 800w and everthing was so small I had a hard time reading it, so I switched back.

Start with the Sprint OEM theme then use the Glossy black bars execute file attached. I am using SPB Diary to create the tabbed today screen.

Tabs are:

1) SPB Diary native calendar page
2) SPB Weather & Weather panel Fat Finger 320 x 320 theme plus custom radar theme made for me by none other that Storyr him self
3) Palm OEM speed dial
4) SPB Diary native Tasks
5) SPB Diary native Messaging
6) Handy Mark Pocket Express & Palm OEM today screen map search & Skyfire today screen web search

Just got my 800w the other day. Not sure if this has been posted, but how do you guys get rid of the contacts bar in the today screen? Thanks for any help.
