I have tried the old hidelogocab, and it does not work. Sadness! Maybe it will get updated!!!!

spb mobile shell 2.1 works great for me...but i havent been able to make it work with any of the custom themes yet...

That's the prime reason I would rather wait or not buy. The question is, will all the 3rd parties rush to upgrade their app for this phone? :mrgreen: Oh, what are you going to do with all those apps if there's no upgrade? I still have my vzw-wx. :)

i totally understand what you mean...but theres just something about being among the first to mess with a device such as this...and my 30 days was just about up on my mogul so i am INCREDIBLY satisfied with my switch. even w/o customization the 800w blew my heavily modded mogul out of the water... and as for most apps for the 800w...im trying before i buy, just so i know if im wasting my money or not :-D

ps...im looking for some help in creating spb mobile shell themes for the square 320 x 320 screen but i havent found much about it. i want to convert some of the amazing themes already out only for qvga portrait for the 800w...so if anybody could direct me to some reading material id greatly appreciate it! :)

I am using SiriusWM5 on this device, through Windows Media Player, without problems.

Developers usually don't upgrade their apps for specific phones, they write apps for technology. The Treo 800w uses WM 6.1, which many new devices will be probably be using. It also has a 320x320 resolution screen, which I'm also sure many new devices will also be using.

I understand that Eddie, however, I was reading about the treo 850 that's suppose to surface soon. Will it be adivisable to wait for them both before purchasing? Then you will have everything thing you need when you get one, such as the bug fixes, as well as the apps for these phones.
