Will you upgrade?
When this bad boy streets are you gonna upgrade to it?
I've had my 700wx for over 2 years and totally love it. Super stable, few soft resets needed, and can pretty much take anything I throw at it. So the 800 better out perform it in a number of ways. The bigger screen will be a definite plus.... Discuss. late, Coz |

sorry, coz, even with the lack of sleep tonight, I think the furthest I'll stray is possibly the instinct. but doubt I would pay much for it.. ins....

Re: Will you upgrade?
I am with coz on my wx, I never owned a more reliable device, and it will take a lot to pry it away from me.
That being said, the 800 is offering some pretty impressive upgrades/features to the wx. I am currently eligible for upgrade, so when it is out, I will be ready. I will most likely wait just a bit until I hear some 'real world/usage' results before I take the plunge, but seeing as I am with VZW, I think I will see plenty from Sprint users before it is available to me. |
Re: Will you upgrade?
I would be very surprised if I don't have one of these the first week they are available. The only thing that could hold me back is if I move from Sprint to Verizon I am waiting to see if I can switch without paying an ETF when/if Sprint starts limiting my data.

Re: Will you upgrade?
Doesn't Verizon limit their data too?

Re: Will you upgrade?
Don't they charge more too?

Re: Will you upgrade?
That's gonna be a tough call for me. I love my 700wx, it works well for me, so am I gonna upgrade? And if I upgrade, will it be an 800 or will it be the Raphael? I guess I'll have to hear what people say, and play around with both of those phones.
Price will be a factor too of course. We'll see. |
Re: Will you upgrade?
I'm definitely getting one. I really have grown to dislike my Mogul. It's relatively stable and I've tweaked this and that, but I really don't like not having a keyboard on the front. Typing long messages is nice with the big keyboard, but I could type just as fast on my Treos. I just love that form factor and I can't wait to switch back. That said, I wouldn't go back to my old 755 because I love having WiFi and GPS. Thus, the 800W is the perfect phone for me! Thanks Palm!!!!
