Has anyone solved the problem of the TurboSFX error that plagues some of us when trying to load the updater? Will using winRAR to extract bypass the TurboSFX feature?

Cant Get the download to work

Hello. i tried doing the update. basically the turbo sfx kicks in, and after it's finished, notepad pops up with html code. please help. my phone was connected to PC via activesync. i did everything according to the sprint instructions!

Give it a few minutes and if it doesn't proceed just perform a hard reset and your device should be ready to go.

Hope this saves a couple of you from having to make a trip to the store.

I strongly suggest that people consider this update before doing it on their phone. It has issues and after the update, you will not be able to connect to internet via USB cable.

Well, I've friggen had it! Finally got the update to work, lost all my contacts, performed a Sprite Restore, everything came back except for contacts. Now the damn thing will connect to active sync, but will not actually perform a sync. I'm on the phone with sprint technical support right now. I'm going to shoot for a replacement phone.....namely the Mogul. I'll let you all know how it goes.

For my experience, if the phone is working for you with no issues, well I recommend not to update.

So I tried to install the latest update (treo 700wx)

i have been without my phone for a week now and its killin me im waiting for palm to send me my friggin back up, but i tried to update it and i keep getting this message over and over again. The phone will not turn on (call wise) to make calls or receive calls i have done a hard reset, soft reset and everything. everything is gone off of the phone but i still cant make any calls or get it to turn back on any help ](*,)](*,)](*,)

Is it true that if I update to 1.15 I won't be able to use my phone as a modem any more?
