I did the update today. One thing that I have noticed is the improvement in signal. Anybody else getting this? I don't have stereo BT so I can't test that out. Anybody else notice any imporovements, i.e. better battery life or anything like that?

Damn,
I got sucked in...
Tried it....no work....
So I went and did a hard reset.
Back to 1.13 Sprint....hoped for the best....
didn't work again. Dangit.

Keeps erroring when I get to the Saving NV screen.

Any advice.....I knew I should have left well enough alone.
Sorry.
BTW I have Vista at home....didn't work so then at WORK I have XP and did it there with Active Sync...no luck either. Dangit.

Super Bonus...Just realized. No phone . All the MSID and number everything is GONE. Now I will be on hold......................

Final Update:
Phone was a BRICK> Went to the Sprint Repair while you wait center and was GIVEN..yes Given...a new phone. They said it was refurbished but it had everything in the box and it sure looked brand new. Not a mark or sign of wear anywhere. I looked good too... Said...thank you very much and went back and did the update. Still had a problem where I had to click continue anyway on my PC but when it ran a 2nd time all was well. I was nervous too...thought I had done in my 2nd handset....When I get home will see if my Stereo BT Headset will connect.

The updater installed ok. However, if your 3rd party apps that have hooks to the notification queue, it seems that the firmware upgrade could not handle and you will receive "can not execute \Windows\xxx" errors and you need to uninstall and reinstall the affected package. So far I have to do with the following two applications:

- spb time 2.1.5
- sk schema 1.1.7

I can't get this to even start to update. My PC keeps giving me a TurboSFX failure when it tries to extract the files. I dl'd TurboSFX from their website, and I still get the same failure. Anyone shed some insight on this? BTW, I already unzipped the file through WINZIP, but when the installer itself tries to extract, I get the TurboSFX message at about 16% extraction.

Try just clicking on the zip folder to open, don't use WinZip.

Doesn't work.

Well, no matter what I do...........I've practically done it all...........I can't get this update to load. I contacted sprint and found out that since I have insurance, I can get the upgrade done at a sprint corporate store for free. Guess i have to go that route than. Better that than nothing I guess.

just installed the update. no issues to report.

I installed the update a couple nights ago. I had no issues with it.

Today I went out and bought a pair of Logitech Freepulse headphones. I've never used BT Headphones and did not have the hack installed. Once I found how to put the headphones in discoverable mode, I had no issues and it paired with the Treo very quickly. Been using it for about twenty minutes streaming radio.

Hmm, this seems to have made my reception worse! With 1.14, I was able to get full signal in my house. Right after the update, I now only get 1 bar! Strange!

I emailed ecare to see why.
