not entirely true...depending on the phone make and model...some phones support mms directly...i know my a900m does...pictures appear on phone as its received as opposed to the old days of the link. That is what true mms is All we're achieving is 3g picture mail.

I'll confirm this, I sent a message to my wives a900m and she received it without logging in. I can handle receiving pics through the link on my Treo, as long as it's nice and easy for her to do!

I found that this used to work prior installing the palm sms patch...now it seems to just hang in my outbox..confused

Edit: A soft reset cured this issue, however when I go to Sent Items it lists a time stamp that is WAY off 07:30AM when it is 1:30PM

I installed the software and it still does not work it will only allow me to send pic's to email and even than it is not working. I installed it corretcly and it is definitley on the phone but the origin of the message shows up as (user@user.com) (MMS) I am unsure what I am doing wrong. Can anyone assist me?

yay I deleted ur post it was confusing since u can do the one install in the first post. it already has everything setup for sprint.

To send a mms just go into ur inbox, change through from inbox to text to a folder named mms. select new, then pix message.

Well I'm stumped

After a reinstall of the mms cab last night everything worked fine. Time stamp showed correctly and I was able to send.


I rechecked it this morning by sending myself a message and sure enough the time stamp is off by 6 hours again.

In all honesty I should just be happy it works, however I can't help but being anal and when I look in the outbox it says I sent a message 6 hours before I actually did.

Anyone else having this issue with a 700wx or any ppc phone?
