2800 txt msgs in inbox....ha taking forever to empty....
 

id like to use my treo today sometime lol

I think I can safely speak for everyone when I ask the question...how the hell do you get 2,800 messages? How much memory will you free up?

I had the same problem. I would let it sit there for about 20 minutes and it would do nothing and then crash. I eventually started deleting 300 at a time...

I remember when I had roughly 1200 texts in just my inbox. I also had around the same nu,ber in my sent folder. I let it begin deleting before I went into the restaurant to eat dinner, and it had froze by the time i was finished. You need to delete several hundred at a time manually. haha. Otherwise it will take FOREVER. That puppy will be a whole new machine when you are done.

ha so yeah it crashed but cleared the whole inbox now im doing the 28some odd txts from my sent folder.
its working a whole lot faster now though damn i wish i wasnt a lazy pothead! haha

100 is my threshold. then i hit the "clear text messages" option.

is it just me, or does the wx need a quarterly overhaul??? meaning cleaning memory, registry, etc.....

I run MemMaid at least every other day just to keep things tidy and running smooth. Only takes about a minute.

yea coz, quickclean.... that getts run every other day.

but i have to run the advanced cleaner every so often (dead reg, bad uninstall, etc.) to keep the wx in top shape.

is there a function in sk tools thatll clear it on a schedule?
or will memaid do that?
