Synching Contacts
 

I have a Sprint Treo 700wx and I'm running Windows Vista. I downloaded a hack for the chat sms messaging a while back and I have since deleted/removed it from my handset. Well now my normal mms text messaging does not always work. When people send me messages i don't get them and I have to do a soft reset and send my self a text message for it to start working again. Does anyone know how I can restore my mms messaging files without doing a hard reset. Also if there isn't a way and I have to do a hard reset how can i transfer my contacts to my desktop pc. Whenever i sync my phone with the Vista mobile center program it says it synched my contacts but how can i access them on my pc so that if i do reset my phone i can import them back to the phone after it's been reset?

Pretty sure your going to need a hard reset. When your contacts sync they are going into outlook on your desktop. You might also want to look into mail2web.com. It's a free exchange server which would put all of your outlook stuff on the web for access and backup there.
