WM6 from t-Mo MDA

Would anyone be able to take the download from tmobiles site that is used to upgrade the MDA to WM6 and hack it to allow it to load onto the WX. I found a 55mb file on tmobile.com and was interested if anyone would be able to work some magic on the file.

I tried to load the MDA update on my Treo and it didnt work because it did not recognize the device. Is it possible to some way trick the program into tricking it into thinking it is the MDA?
