Is Treo upgrading their phone?

Will the 700xw be upgraded anytime soon? I was thinking of getting it but I would wait if a new model is coming out soon.

The 700wx just came out last fall as a sort of upgrade from the 700w. Then the 750 came out...and that was kind of an upgrade from the 700wx. I doubt that Palm will be upgrading the wx any time soon. The only real potential upgrade would be installing WM 6 on the device...but WM 6 is really not that much of an upgrade from WM 5.

second that.. we also learned of the 755 which ended up being a palm device... id say ur safe as far as the 700wx being around for a while... only other thing might wait for the ppc 6800 if thats something ur intereseted in... looking june/july for that release

i would wait for the 6800 but i keep hearing different release dates. I could wait another month or two but I dont feel like waiting till October.So is the 700wx the next best thing?

And if i get the 700wx, what do i need to update from factory installed software?

The only official factory update for the 700wx's from Sprint is the SMS patch which new wx's include.

Sprint doesn't employee people .. they employee drones that follow scripts and copy and paste email all day. Knowing 4 people that work there doesn't help me to actually like them in the least.
