I think it was a bad file though, not sure if a restore would have helped in this case, but your correct....always a good idea!!!!

I think you installed to your card once before, and somehow when you first installed again it tried to use the card. combined with the default language in that app...

this is why I don't install app's on a card.

That is high praise....especially considering the source!!! Thank you for the compliment, honestly though if it weren't for PPCGeeks, and a lot of help from a few of the experts in here...including you....I wouldn't be anywhere LOL!!!

P.S. shaggylive...I know what you mean with some apps. Can you believe after all that though G-Alarm doesn't play nice with the wx....ouch!!

Hey Syrguy,

I think you should back up your files on your card to your harddrive, and re-format that sucker.

You said that one time you saw stuff that looked like another language, plus you had a hard time deleting the problem file.

The only time I saw that was right before my card really started freaking out, I thought the card had died, backed up what I could and re-formated, It's been faster and more reliable ever since (several months).

Too bad the ap didn't work out for you after all that, but I think this is your warning about the card....

Amen on the card situation...I do keep a backup on my PC in case of emergency, but I may re-format for the heck of it!! I am not purchasing any new cards though, this one has to last until the new devices come out (they are all microSD do purchasing new high memory SD cards would be a waste at this point).
