What should I Do?
 

Hey i tried to copy everything from in my device memory into my storage card. While copying them I would delete the files from being saved on my device (to create room). Now i am hit with that problem of the programs I use to have are not showing as being installed anymore. And even when I reinstall them. It keeps saying the it was unsuccessful. without giving any info on why. I think i deleted something in the phone that i wasn't suppose to so i am not sure what i should do. Should i try to return it? Does anybody have an idea of what i deleted that is causing me not to be able to install anything on my phone.
I need some help

If you didn't make a backup using something like Sprite...then I have two words for you.....Hard Reset....cause you done fubared your phone.
Then you'll have to reload all of your third party apps, etc.

how do you hard reset again....(dont kill me for asking.....lol)

You need to hold down the "end" button (red button on front of phone) and the reset button (underneath the battery cover) at the same time. You will then be asked if you want to proceed (e.g., "erase all data" or something like that). I believe you then want to push the d-pad up.

will i lose my contact list?

You will lose EVERYTHING. You'll be starting over from scratch. Your phone will look and act like you just took it out of the box. Did you originally get your contacts onto your phone via ActiveSync with your PC?

can i save the contact list on my card?

You might be able to...but I don't know how you would go about doing that. Are you able to uninstall any/all of your 3rd party apps? I'm assuming you've done a soft reset by now to reboot your phone?

I fixed most of the things, i copied and pasted my apps back to my device but i am still not sure if i can get more programs, guess thats a lose i might have to take
