Resco slow when browsing Windows directory
 

I know this was posted here somewhere...maybe by Malatesta, but my searches come up empty.

When I'm using Resco to browse the Windows directory on my 700wx, it takes a good 5-10 seconds, maybe even longer, for the directory structure to populate.

Does anyone know how to speed that up or what's causing it?

If you have something like SK Tools or MemMaid I suggest using either one of those products to clean up your device. They will both clean up PIE temp files, cookies, etc. This might help some.

It happens on mine too, even more if you have enabled Resco to display all files. I consider it normal due to the amount of files and directories it needs to populate, it's just like how Windows on a PC sometimes takes longer to load a folder.

I wouldn't worry about it... after all, these phones are considered PC's, pocket PC's, but PC's after all.
