PPC programs for Treo - Screen Size problem.

I am new treo 700wx user. So I started to look for programs whatever I could find. And I found many. However, most of them have problem with screen size. Looks like they all are designed for 240x320 screen. You can run them on Treo, but part of their work area is outside of Treo screen. It makes many of them unusable.

Is there any workaround?

Unforunately not. Unless the devs release a 240x240 version or the app is designed to create a scrollbar we are out of luck.

What apps are you talking about? I haven't had many issues. I've read about users having the most issues with games, but not many apps in general.

Anybody out there using JobSite Companion by Planit Solutions? My guess is that it would atleast be harder to use on a square screen, we are thinking of trying it, but I might run it on my 6700 instead

There is a program, not free but will simulate a 240x320 screen with a navigation compass which allows you to move around (it can do a lot more different resolution). The program is called Nyditot Virtual Display. It will not work with *all* 240x320 program, especially games since some of them use direct mapping to the pixel which is incompatible to the simulator. I used it to run some of the medical programs which require 240x320 display.
