ssl certificates from godaddy.com
 

I have 3 htc phones and a treo 700wx. I also have an exchange 2007 server I'm trying to get activesync ota running. The htc 6800 and 6900's work peachy. I have not yet tried the 6700 but should work as it has been upgraded to wm6.

Anyway, the problem is, I manually installed both the valicert and the godaddy cert on the 700wx. In the ie browser to https://mail.myserver.net/owa (name changed to protect the innocent) it gives a ssl message of

the certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust

the certificate date is valid

the certificate has a valid name matching the name of the page you are trying to view.


When setting up activesync I get the error message of "the security certifate on the server is invalid. contact your exchange server administrator or isp to install a valid certificate on the server. Support code 0x80072F0D

Little update, I just noticed I failed to mention. The errors only appear on the 700wx. The certificate works great on all other devices.

fixed. godaddy had me delete the old root certificates and it works like a charm now
