Question. I am in an area where Verizon has EVDO service but Sprint does not. Is there anything I can do to my Treo 700wx to pick up EVDO? For example change the PRL or Something in the REG! [-o<

Sprint uses EVDO ... Verizon uses Edge i think. Plus the networks are not compatible.

This is not true, Sprint and Verizon are both CDMA networks. Your plan must include roaming in order for this to work. Go to start->settings->phone-> services->roaming->roaming networks only and this will allow you to use Verizon's data network, however if your plan does not include roaming you will be charged. Make sure not to use this all the time as with the roaming plans you can only use 50% of your minutes as roaming minutes.

EDGE is Cingular IIRC.

I have been in areas where I know Verizon had EVDO, I was able to data roam on there network but no EVDO just X1. Stingy Verizion wont share the EVDO. :(
