Email start time

Hey guys, I just got my 700wx and love it so far, but I have one problem, and it could be major. I don;t see a setting to state when I want my email to start and end for send and receive. I know I can set it to send and receive every 30 minutes, but i want to set it to send and receive every 30 minutes between 7:30am, and 5:30pm. I had this in my 650, and since I have multiple email accounts that are syncing, this could be very detrumental to my batterylife, if i can't set it up. Please help. Thanks

Happy New Year

Push Email gives you this option but POP mail dose not sorry. There are free push mail services out there and that is what I use. I hope that helps :|

can you tell me some of the push mail options?

mail2web.com I highly recommend....and they have a free one. All my emails are forwarded to my mail2web account. :D Emoze also but you have to use their software to sync. Hope this helps.

cubsrule17,

Not exactly what you want but this might work for you. Check out a program called PhoneAlarm from PocketMax Software:

http://www.pocketmax.net/phoneAlarm.html

That allows you to create profiles that effectively change the phone configuration at specified times. One of the profile options is to start/stop a specific program at the designated time. So, for example you should be able to create a profile to start the messaging application at 7:30am and another profile to stop it at 5:30pm.

I'm not sure how to launch the messaging application, but you might be able to find that around here somewhere. Now that you got me thinking about this I have to try it myself - I'll post the answer if I figure it out.

Thanks guys very helpful!! Anyone know the reason that isn't built in, doesn't it seem sort of dumb not able to put a time on the pop accounts? Do you think that might be a change in the next firmware out?
