pIE closing on its own
 

For an unknown and unannounced reason, at times pIE will shut down on its own. I know this is caused by some software issue, or memory problem. I've had it happen without any other apps open in task manager, and i happens even when opening Google.com.

Any ideas?

It's completely random and always annoying.

Sounds like you chose to store cache on your Storage Card. Reversethat and you should be fine

I agree with Patmannyc. Make sure that you're storing your internet temp files on your device memory...not your storage card.

By any chance, do you have the youtube hack installed? Im not sure if it was the player or the flash bundle, but the same thing was happening to me. When i uninstalled both, all was fine.

I too have it stored on my storage card. Every now and then this happens but a soft reset and it's back to normal. I don't mind doing it. I do a lot of surfing from my phone (you know work stuff).

how do u check that, to make sure its stored in phone memory and not storage.

Ice...use something like SKTools to check and change.

Mine just started doing it yesterday but only when loading up my myspace homepage. it loads to right below the little part that has your picture in it then it just closes.

and I've done a hard reset and it still does it.

any ideas?

Does it crash on any other sites or just MySpace? More info please.
