Alert Icon is gone
 

I had regedit software installed.After hard reset my wx hasen"t been the same :(
When Missed call and voice mail are present at same time There is no shared alert icon.
For instance the missed call icon will show on missed call then when voice mail is left the evenlope icon appears with no shared alert icon
Ive did 2 hardresets with no fix.?
Did I screw up my reg?
Help fixing please :?

After a hard reset, your device should go back to factory settings so the registry should be back to default. After your hard reset, did you restore with a backup file? That could be your problem as the backup file has the edited registry. Or there may be an app that you install that is causing the conflict.

No back up files were restored.I did use Phone Alarm.I noticed this problem when both missed and voice mail were present.I clicked the missed call tab on Phone Alarm dismissing call and WM VOICE MAIL icon clears>It should not even be there).I then use hardware voicemail softkey to check mail.when I save or deleat message,hang up the WM MISSED ICON appears>Should not be there) .From that point ive did a couple soft and hard resets loadind diffrent builds of Phone Alarm with the same result.I ditched PA Still not having shared alert icon present :(

PhoneAlarm can definitely be the culprit as it messes with the phone and notifications. You may need to do one more hard reset because even if you uninstall PA, it does not restore all the registry keys back to default.

No go.The same outcome is had.lession to all.Dont hard reset your wx with a reg edit software installed.

Um, that makes no sense. When you hard reset, your registry is reset back to normal and all programs are removed. Why do you think the reg edit program caused this?

Im not pro ppc know everything but it only makes sence.I have reg edit software on my wx then do a hard reset and it does not work correctly.
Ive done 3 hardreset with the same outcome.
Anyway thanks for all the memebers off ppcgeeks help solving this issue
