Removal of System Tray
 

Does anyone know a way to disable the system tray from loading? I have a program (intellisync Mobile Suite) that places an icon in the tray when running (it runs continuously) I have set all other apps to not show an icon in this tray but this program does not have that ability ( checked with their tech support). I really want to reclaim this today screen realestate. Anyone have any suggestions?

Unless the application itself allows you to remove the systray icon, you most likely won't be able to. I have Calligrapher installed on mine and up until v8.4, there was no option to remove it. You might want to suggest this to the developers to add an option to allow it to be disabled from the systray.

On a related note...does anyone know how to remove the O2 Plus icon from the system tray?
