Bluetooth Problems (Hardware and Connection Issues)

I've been experiencing some bluetooth problems lately on my 700wx that is new and only been in use since 11/9. These problems include:
  • Wireless Manager settings intermittently and repeatedly show bluetooth as "Discoverable" even though bluetooth has been turned off in "Bluetooth Settings" whether phone is on or off. (I have also performed several hard resets and RTN resets.)

Popup windows informing of bluetooth hardware problems.

Lost connections with various bluetooth devices, including 1 new BT headset.

Has anyone else been experiencing such issues? Please let me know so I may determine if my 700wx is defective. (Also, note these problems appeared before and after installing additional software. Currently the only additional software I have installed is Palm Messaging App, VJSlippy and Total Commander. On Demand and Microsoft NET .CF are not installed.)

There have been problems reported with the bluetooth at all levels in this device I have posted at palm.com about a problem I have with my treo bluetooth headset where the bluetooth just turns off all by its self. I have not gotten any answer as of yet. At this point I just hope that Palm will release some kind of patch. I will continue to check every day for any changes. Others have posted here about the problem you are having with the "Pop up windows informing of bluetooth hardware problems" but I cant find the post. You can find additional information about bluetooth problems HERE Hope this helps

I have a problem now too. Who'da thought another 700Wx problem!

I haven't used my BT for about a month. Now when I tap the homescreen icon it does nothing. Like I'm not even tapping anything. When I go to the wireless manager it says blue tooth is off. Okay fine, I'll tap it to turn it on. No such luck. I get the MSspinning wheel that stays for a few minutes till I get pissed and say fuck it and exit the menu. Did a few soft resets, of course that doesn't help s***.

I don't know how to do a hard reset or what that consists of (do I lose any info/settings?)

Any suggestions?
