{REQUEST} Incoming Call Bubble Addition
Hi guys...
Well, I have been trying to find something all night, and well, I can't...I figured I would turn to the masters.... I am looking for a hack, program, anything, that will make the incoming callerid picture on my 700 bigger. I tried PhoneAlarm awhile back, and it did that, but I don't want the other things that go with it. I tried PhotoContacts and PhotoContactsPro, and yes, bigger picture, but I don't want all of the other stuff that goes with that. I like the incoming call bubble, but I just would like to have the ID picture bigger. Is this something we can do, or should I just not bug anyone about it? This is a shot in the dark...But I am trying..... Thanks! Chris |
It has never been done on WM5 for any device.
You have two options: (1) Make your pictures taller than they are wide. This makes the "bubble" bigger. Not huge but certainly easier to see. Making square or rectangle pics will results in a tiny windows. (2) PhotoContacts Pro will give you a huge picture (full screen) along with tons of other bells and whistles. If you need it, you need it but I do not consider it opitmal software. It's analogous to Wisbar Advanced 2: looks pretty, slows down the system. |
Hey Mal;
Thanks for the quick reply. I am using the camera photos, 1260 x 1024 i believe, and they are still small. I just wasn't sure if we could use just one aspect of phone alarm. I loved the incoming call bubble. Picture was so much bigger with that program. Are you familiar with what I am talking about, or am I dreaming this? Thanks! Chris |

PhoneAlarm does not change the bubble or notification system, it merely links into it. re: pictures taken with the camera What I'm trying to say is if you take a picture (even with the camera), when in the Pic & Vid program, hit EDIT. Now, always select auto-correct :wink: (greatly enhances photos). Second, hit "crop" and simply crop the photo so that it is taller than wide and then save it. That's all you need to get a bit of extra size. |
