RIP as the lcd went out on me.

had to sell it as is, oh well i may buy another after the first of the year or maybe a hero.

I still have my Diamond too lol, but I just use it to test ROMs and stuff....Did you have insurance?

If the LCD went out it should be covered by the manufacturer warranty.

no insurance and i didn't buy it from sprint, i bought it on craigslist new. i just sold it "as is" for $140. still miss it and i hate this diamond and winmo. i pray i can get another pre or hero after the holidays. angry9:

regardless of where you bought it, sprint goes by the manufacture date. As long as it is within a year, they will honor the warranty. I am getting my tp2 replaced by them and I didn't get my phone from sprint either. They didn't even ask any questions.

LOL!! Add the insurance on your next phone Fixxxer, that TEP has covered me well in my TP and Diamond days.

exactly...I have insurance on all 3 lines.. even though im paying 21 bucks extra a month for it..its great cause my wife and my 11 yr old dont exactly take care of their phones. both using dumb phones so 50 bucks to replace them.

i removed the insurance in august to lower our bill down. maybe when i get a new phone ill add it again.

I did the same late last year but added after my son lost his Centro. I added it back on all 4 of my lines.

My daughter has lost and or broken 2, no make that 3, phones....so we carry insurance on all of our lines.

I'm way frugal and hate spending that extra cash, but it's certainly nice to have the insurance when you need it.

i think its well worth the 7 bucks just cause you never know what can happen to something just cause its on a production line

I'm with you! I dropped my Pre, my boss didn't want me getting another as i already had 2 "oreos" replaced. So i got the Hero. Nice phone, but doesnt multitask as well, and NOTHING is better than that Pre keyboard. NOTHING. I just set up a return of my hero, and reordered the Pre. (We ordered the Hero on an upgrade). Love the things a Hero can do, but nothing does what i want (texting/Im) as well as my pre.

i just saw online wait til 2/1/2010 to save 150 on a new handset.. before it said march..oh well.. might just upgrade and get a pixie to play with for a bit.. then give it to my wife..and give her lotus to my 11 yr old girl. and sell her lg rumor2 on cl for 70 bucks.lol who knows.. but less than 2 months aways now.. might get something to switch out with the pre every once in awhile..
