help new pre owner..preware???
 

ok so im back with a pre..( by by diamond ) anyway trying to play catch up.. is there a quick tut on this preware thingy.. is there a way to install it without the webos qiuckinstall etc.. im so confused.. preware is used to install themes and hacks and such correct?

Check out precentral they have step by step to so you can add homebrew and themes to your phone. It's simple I'm sure you flashed your diamond so you can flash a pre.

The post above has the info you're looking for but the quick and dirty is that you need to use WebOS Quick Install once to install Preware and after that you'll never need to use it again. Preware is fully up-datable OTA now.

awesome got it installed last night..couldnt get to this sie til this monring.. kept giving me server to busy, so far im loving the pre once again.. what a diff 2 months make.. oh and thanks to all 3 for the info..

indeed... to me the pre is so stress free...got every setup with preware etc. in a matter of minutes.. and now i can really take pics of my middle daughter at her soccer games and catch the action.. instead of missing everything with my diamond,lol..

gonna stick with the pre til upgrade time come march or earlier if sprint will let me.
