Hey guys I'm in love with the Pre but I do miss the smart dialing like the one I had in my Mogul

If you dial 96 it will give to you a list of contacts that start with any combination of the letters XWYZ MNO or the 96 numbers.

If there is a way to get this then WWWAAAAOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!~!!!\

You can just start typing in the name of any contact and it pops up for you. Not sure if that's what you're looking for though.

Yea, that's a problem then since you do have to open the keyboard to do that.

There's no good option at the moment to do what you want.

i noticed the phone application is pretty much like the contacts application. the only difference if you click on a person it calls them in the phone app. if the contacts it shows all the info you have on them.
