Nope. According to Precentral the speculation is that Palm is waiting to see if Apple updates iTunes and locks out the Pre again. This way Palm can do one update and not have to do another in a few weeks.

It looks like the latest iTunes does indeed lock out the Pre. So...don't upgrade that iTunes until WebOS 1.2 comes out with a fix.

Is itunes really that big of a deal? Palm can send out updates whenever they want, fix it when it comes up palm! Lol

yeah i agree, i dont think itunes is a big deal for me, and i bet there are plenty of palm users that really dont care about itunes and would prefer the update to come out already.

I personally hate Itunes and would rather put my music on the Pre the old fashioned way. (by myself sorted in folders) So come on!!! Out with the update already!
