Does the Pre have a program like PDA Net
 

I have a Pro Touch. My dd is considering getting the Pre. Is there a program like June Fabrics PDA Net that works on the Pre?

There is an app for that lol wow that sounds like an iPhone add, but in order to get the app on your phone you have to root into your palm pre and then you install it.

That is incorrect. You no longer have to root into the Pre to do this or a few other things like you used to. Search for a program called "WebOS Quick Install" over at Precentral and it will explain everything.

BTW: The app is called MyTether

BTW, preware will make it all accessible from the phone, no need for WebOS Quick Install after you install preware
