i've lost my pre... my sprint 30 day trial is now over?
damn!...
i opened an account with sprint few days ago... i wanted to try the pre. this morning i just lost my phone in a f***** trip and now i don't know what to do. if i report the lost to the insurance: are they going to charge me the $100 deductible?... what about my 30 day trial with sprint?... is now over?. I don't think they are going to accept a "different" phone if i decide not to stay with the service at the end of the month :( |

Yea if you call sprint and say its lost they will charge you and no they won't let ou do anything with the trial unless you have ur pre when you go in

so... after this i will be able to recover my phone by paying the insurance 100 bucks... but my 30 day trial is over?. i mean, sprint won't accept the replacement phone that the insurance will send me, right?

you can cancel the account, you just wont get the money back for the Pre. call insurance, pay the deductible and hope someone will pay $400 for a Pre, either here,ebay or craigslist. Since you paid 299.99 for the phone, if you cancel within 30 you wont get the mail in rebate, and you put in $100 for the insurance claim.

the cancellations department has nothing to do with returns, especially if you bought the phone from a store, one of the policies for returning devices is they must be deactivated before the return is approved. So if you call and cancel, how do they know you didnt bring the phone back to the store????
I added a new line of service to get a TP, did a flip-flop between the numbers on my account. Wasnt happy so i called and cancelled the new line of service within 30 days. i forgot to return the device to the store within 30 days, but was never charged anything extra, i just never got my mail in rebate. |
