How to install WebOS 2.1.0 & Adobe Flash on Palm Pre & Palm Pre Plus

Enabling Flash in Palm Pre and Palm Pre +

To enable Adobe Flash here are some small steps :


Updating Palm Pre and Palm Pre + with WebOS 2.1.0 rom

• First you will need to download 2 files. The first is the Flash IPK file and other is the patch file. The file is linked here -

• Once you got your file them you have to go to the Installation Package. Browse for the Flash IPK file and move it here. Install the ipk file. Then do not entirely reboot your phone, just perform luna restart.
• If you do not have the Advanced Reset Patch installed go here: http://forums.precentral.net/webos-p...t-options.html
• Then again install the patch file and again perform a restart.

When i tried to install the legacy patch file via WebOS Quick Install, it failed, so I had to install the patch file via Preware on my phone, then all was good!
