@ Tooley, a few posts up, you asked me if i used Webos quick install, no i havent. All i use is preware on my phone, and yes i do it 1 by 1 and i would def like to see if 2.1 is available... or is barley wine 337 the only one? As another mirror, i uploaded the file that i used to flash my pre: let me know if there are issues with this link

ill let u know when i have a chance to test the link. I've got a day of free time coming up, so ill see what happens. With u saying that u use preware, i had assumed that u had to use webos QI to install the program. That's all.

Tooley, I found out information on how to get WebOS Quick Install working.

Application:Preware - WebOS Internals

They state that you need to have the WebOS 1.4.5 SDK installed. follow those instructions and let me know if it works!

BigMoe88, Very cool ill check it out when i can. Im gonna pick up a Laptop in a few days so it'll be easier for me to do such activities. Thank u and ill be sure to get back to u. Also note when u boot Ur phone what logo do u get? Palm is 2.0.1 HP is 2.1

Yes u definately have 2.1 its the 1st to incorporate voice calling and Exhibition. Use got the latest firmware of course, however its just a unofficial (leaked) release.

So the megaupload is 2.01, build 337? Is that correct? If so I'm still on the hunt for 2.1, if someone with it could possibly pm me i'd super appreciate it as i too am stuck with an obsolete Pre minus.

It's 2.1 I'm sure, if it boots with the HP logo then it's 2.1.

Yes BigMoe88 ur correct, Hp WEBOS 2.1 (Leaked Rom). Version: HP Webos Nova BarleyWine Build 337, Loads Hp. Introduces Exhibition and Voice Dailing. 2.0 n 2.0.1 did NOT have these features.
