TP2 to the Pre?
 

I was thinking of going from my TP2 to a Pre. Has anyone had a TP2, before the going to the pre. Is so did u regret it. What are the pros and cons. I really like the form of the pre, and always wanted one but couldn't on sero, but now the new sero allows it. My main thing is can the Pre tether without sprint knowing it. I use this function all the time on my TP2. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've seen several ppl switch to the pre from windows and most of them were very impressed with the functionality of the pre compared to the tp2. Most of them say the pre is much more fun and full of features like the droids are. Just what I've heard. Not sure on the tethering part. I'm sure someone here can answer that for ya.

My Tether works well on the Pre. I went to the Pre from a Touch Pro (not a II) and there was no comparison. The Pre ate it's lunch. Try a Pre with the 1ghz kernel. My all time fav phone and yes, I have an Evo.

back when i had my tp i took it to the sprint store over a usb port problem (last december) while they had it i played with all the phones on the display and hated the pre the most out of all of them.only good thing it has over the tp2 in my opinion is the unified inbox but then again bbs have that.

Thanks all, My biggest concern is the tethering. As long as it can tether as easy as the tp2 I think I might pick one up on ebay. I'm still keeping the tp2, because I can switch between the 2 phones online can't I without any charge?

You can switch without any problem between the two.

I just went from a TP2 to a pre and i really like it. i say go for it. just make sure you run it at 1ghz.
