Bgill - thanks for the hard work, love your ROMs.

I like the busy background also and I really, really did like the hex background with the cool orange/blue colors. Thought that would have been a great backdrop. Consider reviving the idea for a future release (or if you would post it so it could be used it would be great).

With all the thanks out of the way - I need help and will pass this request to anyone that can help - I have banged my head against this now for a few builds and cannot come up with the answer, although I know I have seen it and searched in vain.

I do not use IContact. I removed it. However, the contacts button in the start menu is associated with IContact and the soft button in the bottom right also is. How can I assign these to PhoneEx (which I prefer) or back to the default contact manager?

Well for the one in the start menu all you have to do is go to \Windows\Startmenu and alter the properties of the .lnk file or simply delete it and put a .lnk to PhonEx there instead. as for the soft button...not sure about that one.

whn you insatll phonex it should take over as the default contact manager i think there is an option for that in its settings ill try that i have a copy here. for the hex background i have a cab for that if you want but the background hex doesnt show up that well with this wallpapaer so you would have to change that up. it will also make your start menu font a little smaller which i like.

If you could share the cab - that would be great! I would actually prefer the other wallpaper - this one is a little busy on old eyes. Can you share that one that you used in your picture post ?

You are right on the contact issue - phonex did take over the link.

I do have a problem getting Phonex to register the contact list - it either bombs out in the 1.4 version, or if I roll back to an earlier version 1.2 just shows no contacts even though through the default contact manager all is there. Have you seen this before?

no i havent see this before i avent used phonex for a while ill test it though. fixing this fingerboard issue right now

thought the finger keyboard was again something maybe unique to me. ](*,)

It will not stay selected as the registered keyboard, and defaults back or kicks out of finger keyboard back to the samsung. Is that you are seeing?

I even tried install and uninstalling fingerkeyboard - worked until I soft reset.

yeah i am having a those issues, Fingerboard is not playing nice with this build. I am realeasing a bug fix shortly, well not a bug fix but i took finger board out. but i added a opera panel that Adryn gave me. someone said that if you installed finger board cab it works fine

I have older version write ups that i havnt posted yet... kinda waiting till some of these cooks make a final to their roms and start a new kitchen(and i use old roms with new goodies all the time so my write up's on individual builds is for my own reference too)... but if you really want i can post some up for ya... im not done testing adryn's 3.3 and BG's is next in line for today.... But the newest roms i have tested really arnt that far off from the earlier ones.... just minor fixes and other themes...:)
