I just got a call from Best Buy. Customers who pre-ordered the phone and are reward zone members can get the phone on the 9th. I am going to be out of town so I actually am not going to get the benefits but I wanted to share with the community the great news!

Yea I'm not sure but they asked for my phone number when I pre-ordered and they called me at 10 when they opened. I'm on Central time, and you are on pacific so maybe they haven't gotten to yours yet? I hope it is true for all because I can't even get mine! Haha.

Go into the store and ask. You have to purchase a $50 gift card to get the pre-order, but you can spend the gift card on anything you want.

Has anybody found this in print yet?? I'm not about to call my Best Buy store, they are pretty clueless and even if they said no I wouldn't believe them.

im really glad to see this phone is getting as much love and attention as it deserves. seems to me this could be the winmo & iphone killer from what ive been reading. unfortunately i can't get mine until november when i upgrade but im still excited for it. :mrgreen:

and from what ive heard from sprint, sero users won't be able to use this phone, you will need an unlimited data plan.

Looks like i can grab the Sprint Hero for $274.96 being only one year into this contract (this is with Texas taxes applied 8.25%) not bad.. Good thing i got that reward member card on my keychain

My Touch Pro just crapped out due to a cable that came apart when it slides open for the keyboard. Basically the screen died, prior it was draining ink into the back of the screen, white lines and crazy stuff until it became darkened out forever.

hmmm graphics seem fluid on the device, gestures support, multitouch and potential. Seems like quite an upgrade actually. Paid like $286.00 last October 26th for the Touch Pro and that failed miserably due to the play in the slider mechanism after one short year..

also i just saw Pandora and LastFM for Android in the marketplace. FREE. I bet it even streams music without stuttering or heating up. We shall see

$179 is the price for either a new activation, or a 2 year contract renewal. If you just want the phone, you will be paying full price.

I have the first pre-order at the best buy mobile in Moorestown, NJ (in the moorestown mall). Was hoping the phone would fly on SERO, obviously it won't. So if anyone in the area wants my pre-order, PM me and i'll give you my pre-order form, receipt and gift card for $50 cash

Just sharing the info I received about an hour ago. My Best Buy has the Heros now. I am trying to talk them into giving it to me early which I don't think is going to happen but it is worth a shot! Haha. If anyone has any luck getting one let me know!

Did u get it hero yet? I only ask heavyweight u have helped me out a ton in the. past (moviles touch pro) and helped me become kinda a phn junkie (still have those other object but also an iphn 3vs and now mt hero which im typing ion now. Having real hard time the being my frst. Android phn. Cheers
