Acer’s long awaited high-end Windows Mobile handset is rumored to finally be ready for launch on October 6th. Not coincidentally, this is the official roll out date of Windows Mobile 6.5 as you well know by now, and it looks like Acer wants in on the action just like everyone else. As a refresher, the F1 will feature a 3.8-inch WVGA display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, HSDPA, GPS, FM Tuner, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It’s expected to debut for £295 ($482USD), making the F1 an extremely wallet-friendly option as far as full featured Windows Phones are concerned.

If it comes to the US and there is a CDMA version of it with Verizon, I will sign a new contract (Have not been in a contract for 3 years now) to get it. From the specs it should support WM 7, as most phones today wont.

I'm seeing a lot of articles saying that it has an 800MGHZ processor instead of a 1ghz processor :S Either way though it still looks like quite a device :headbang:
I dont need a compass on a phone either, but maybe JL-F1 does a lot of underground navigation where he cant see the sky or something :scratch:

That is a cool app, but it's basically like an enhanced live search. Definitely wouldnt mind having it, but it wouldnt make or break the phone.

I dont see any pre order sites

I even called them up & they dont know if acer have phone lol
