I mean, thats kinda sweet. No charge extra. I still hate AT&T LOL. I can't get my mom to get off of it. "it just never fails" in her book. Even though her phone messes up all the time and there is no internet where she works. But its nice that they are offering that for free to WINmo users LOL!!!!

Expect AT&T to be going the extra mile a lot for their customers now, I think they feel their grip on the iPhone weakening lol. They're going to have to figure out other ways to keep customers.

Not to down the OP, as he is just being the messenger, however, I'm curious as to why I would care about this, if I were on AT&T? Any phone with wifi will be able to connect to any free wifi network at restaurants, hotels, coffee shops, etc. Within a 30 mile radius of my house, there are ~30 AT&T hot spots (according to their site). And they aren't that convenient to me, either. I'm fairly confidant there are more than 30 places around my area that have free wifi that I could use on my wifi enabled phone.

Technically it's not "free" since you need an AT&T data plan to access the WiFi. If you already have decent data speeds then it's not such a big deal.

Yeah i was wondering why you would need a data plan to access a hotspot which will prob only have a few bars and slower then you data plan since other people would be able to use it

What a waste. A Hotspot for AT&T customers only in a majority of airports already getting curtosy WiFi and such services already provided.

To add, its such a gimmick (IMO) to offer this to locations that 90% most likely already have decent data connections (For AT&T at least) rather than just try to improve your network's quality in stead.

It doesnt have Fuze compatibility, etc. etc. etc. I REALLY find this a degrading attempt to market to WinMo
