Some great news here.. T-Mobile is offering their Touch Pro2 for $149.99 thru August 31st.. The only caveat to be found is that this is for new activation only.. On September 1st, you will have to pay $50 dollars more ($199.99)..

That is how I read it, yes.. It could be possible to just sign a new 2-year agreement and upgrade your current phone too...

Sprint is the only way to go for this device. Spotty ATT or tmobile 3G will only frustrate you... atleast in north TX.

I know they haven't released it, I'm just wondering what they will do now that T-Mobile is offering the $149.99 special. I'd like to think they'll match it. Hopefully anyway...

This deal is nothing new. "windows mobile" promotion has been available ever since the wing was launched like a million years ago on tmobile. you can get the dash 3g for 49.99 on tmoible.(sprint's Snap). There is no way sprint with match the 149.99 deal on the tp2. Basically you get a major discount on any phone that is running windows mobile.

Hopefully Sprint will feel the pressure and not jacked their price up. I mean, isn't the TP1 been $400 up front with $100 rebate since launch?

I never said anything about Sprint, I was talking about Verizon.
