Sounds like a great idea.
I do use the stylus alot, especially when my nails get worn out navigating those tight spots :) I hear that capacitive screens use a glass surface which > a) adds weight b) are crackable I saw an iPhone with a shattered screen a few months back. It looked like a shattered window with the glass left in place. Maybe HTC will use a lighter weight, shatter resistant material since the existing screens probably won't be able to be used with their new capacitive screens. |

The Pre uses a plastic screen. Not sure about the Hero, G1, or MyTouch, but when viewing the iPhone at the same time as the Hero, the visibility isn't quite as good, which leads me to believe the screen is plastic.
