Yes, it did. But since this is a carrier-branded device, the Carrier will release the ROM update that will include WM 6.5... Since there are a lot of customizations that carrier's like to do, this will take some time..

If you do, make sure it will work on the Touch Pro2 platform and is GSM.. A WM 6.5 ROM that is for the Touch Pro will not work correctly on a Touch Pro2..

Ya I thought it was the same hardware as well, that is what the big fuss is about to not upgrading right. Anyways, why the hell is t-mobile getting it first, they didn't even have the first one, it should have definitely been sprint!

Touch Pro 2 coming out in Sept on Sprint.
VZW dropped their prices on the Touch Pro and Diamond which means they will have the new ones prob sept or oct

The latest update I've read is that it will be priced at $199 with the 2 year agreement.

I dunno of the T-Mobile one will have it, but the TP2 for Sprint is going to have a 3.5mm headphone jack
