The long awaited Touch Pro2 that was released over-seas about a month ago has finally made it's way to the states. Unfortunately it is not CDMA yet, but T-Mobile has won the race to the states by confirming the release date of August 12th. It packs a 3.2 megapixel camera, AWS 3G, GPS, a huge 3.6-inch WVGA display, WiFi, and the unique Straight Talk tech that should make this phone have one of the best speakerphones you've ever used. Price has not been revealed.

The Touch Pro 2 looks sweet. But unless you are with Telus all you can do is dream of it. Well, sort of. Today, the manual for the T-Mobile Touch Pro 2, which is expected to launch August 12<SUP>th</SUP>, became available on-line at HTC’S website in PDF format.<O:p</O:p

I read somewhere that the HTC Touch Pro 2 might come to Sprint in September? But no official dates yet.

EDIT: Looks like Pro 2 is going be Sept. and Hero is ~October...

I don't see anything on this that would make me, upgrade from my touch pro (w/might rom6). But I do like the external slot for the microsd card.
