somethings do look sweet
but somethings look the same
I wasn't expecting a super omg wow thing with office. As a student, as long as I can save in word/powerpoint I am okay. Its just there's no wow
Perhaps I am expecting the wow to come in wm 7.0 office system, but if this is to really be a segue to what microsoft intends I guess I just expect more.
I am reminded of the 2m 5.0 to wm 6.0 upgrade to office. I wanted it sure, but it didn't innovate much. Que sera sera

Office 2010 will also be offered as SAAS (software as a service - meaning you will not need to load the software on your desktop or phone - it is in the cloud) and anyone with a msn account will have the basic features for free.

Great Idea, whereas you can probably store your files on the cloud too

the bad side? What if you don't have 3G or want to save on bandwidth/battery life depedning on your situation. Or if you are in a dead zone? etc.
