Ugh...one portion of the document says Q4 for the TP2 and another says Q3. Which is is Sprint!?! I need to know!

wm 6.5 is released I thought in q4, but q3 was when manufacturers got it

But what about the Diamond2 or the Topaz or whatever they are calling it... doesnt that have to come out first or is that a gsm thing?

few questions..... I did read the whole thread still have a couple questions..
1. Is it CDMA/GSM worldphone?
2. Does it have a slot for microSD card?
3. Is it going to be 4G or be able to upgrade to that?
4. Is there much difference between TP2 and this Phone other than screen size?

3. dont believe this has been disclosed yet
4. this phone is the touch pro 2, rhodium is the codename htc has been using for it but its the same thing

No, the Touch HD in conjunction with ClearWire/Sprint will have Wimax though.

My buddy who works for Sprint, who I've been pestering for a TP2 for months now, was told by the HTC rep. that I could get my hands on one in October. One can hope.

looking at the up coming releases, whats this about a touch hd w/ sprint!? i would like that. and eta? i like the idea of the new diamond2, w/ the camera an sd slot but from what i read so far the tp2 is coming 2 sprint before diamond2? but any eta on this? if the tp2 does come 1st, i might get trigger happy, even though i never had a hardware kb. is the camera not the same as the diamond2?
sorry i'm all over the place w/ my questions and it might sound ramble, cuz i want a new phone, i'm getting ready. but i want to be sure a better devise comes out later, like the hd.

Im thinking of getting the Rhodium over the Topaz. I kinda wish they did a 'no compromises' thing between them. But I will probably get the larger screen. Maybe ill just skip this generation and stick with my Touch Diamond until WM7.

The Diamond & the Touch Pro has a 2.8 VGA screen. The Rom, Ram and the camera (3.2 megapixel) are the same. The difference between the two are the physical keyboard and the fact that the Diamond has internal memory ( no sd slot) of 4gb, in which it is not upgradable and the Pro has the sd slot which is upgradable. Now with that said the Diamond 2 has a 3.2 VGA screen and a 5 megapixel camera and now it has a sd slot that is upgradable. The Rom and the Ram are the same as the Diamond and the Pro. The Touch Pro 2 has a 3.6 WVGA screen and the Rom, Ram and camera are the same as the Diamond and the Pro. Granted it will have windows 6.5 on them & and the touch flow 3D will be much more responsive on both devices and the Pro 2 will have some business features like automatic conference call etc.... in on the HTC website if you want to all details! =D>
